About AZYA
OUR PHILOSOPHY
Follow your destiny.
Our founder Azya sees herself as an ambassador for her African homeland. With AZYA, she is fulfilling a dream that has accompanied her since childhood. To make the richness of her world accessible to everyone. At the same time, she is living proof of her own belief that one can achieve anything by believing in something, staying true to oneself, and working hard.
OUR VALUES
Individuality, Tolerance, Elegance.
Nothing is truer than acting and behaving in line with one's own values, one's own nature, regardless of circumstances. Being uncompromisingly authentic, standing by one's strengths, wishes, and needs without hiding weaknesses or imperfections - that's what gives our lives value.
OUR MESSAGE
Be sophisticated. Be you.
Be sophisticated. Be you. In Africa, a lot of positive energy and creative expression flow into the outward appearance of people. Fabrics are living artworks, carriers of stories, and ambassadors of individual beauty. Our fragrances tell the story of AZYA: the story of true values and African vibes in perfected elegance.

The Founder
ABOUT AZYA
Azya hails from the nomadic Afar people. Born in Eritrea as the daughter of a judge, she grew up in Ethiopia and Djibouti on the Horn of Africa. The intensity and vibrant spirit, coupled with the breathtaking nature of Africa, have shaped Azya since her childhood and are integral to her creations.
“I remember how my mother used to make perfumes at home in Ethiopia. She combined local spices and pastes made from water and powder from our trees. I grew up watching her and learning how to harness what nature provides for us. The scents of nature play a crucial role in our culture - the smell of our salt flats, the flowing water of the Blue Nile, the sheer variety of our spices. That's why the nature of my homeland is the inspiration for all of my fragrances.”
