Founder Azya sees herself as an ambassador for her African homeland. The pure passion and love, the pride in one's own roots, the awareness of being a unique individual on this wonderful earth, are palpable in each of her fragrances. Her own perfume brand is a tribute to her culture and zest for life, but also a homage to the primal forces of nature, and to the beauty and richness of our world.
Azya hails from the nomadic Afar people. Born in Eritrea, the daughter of a judge, she grew up in Ethiopia and Djibouti on the Horn of Africa. Intensity and a vibrant spirit, coupled with the breathtaking nature of Africa, have shaped Azya since her childhood and are integral to her creations.
